Ana Ramalho holds a PhD in Aquaculture, specializing in fish nutrition and seafood quality, an MSc in Food Technology and Quality, and a BSc in Aquatic Sciences. She is a Science Manager at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Lisbon, supporting the development of national and international research funding, scientific communication, and the strategic management of the Associate Laboratory AL4AnimalS. She has over 15 years of research experience in food science, with expertise in food quality and safety, nutrition and seafood technology. Between 2021 and 2024, she managed European H2020, Horizon Europe, and Erasmus+ projects in food science and technology, focusing on sustainability, food safety, skills development, and innovation. She has also taught higher education courses in food technology and sensory analysis and has contributed extensively to scientific dissemination through publications, conference presentations, and research event organization.
